Grab a pair of white gloves and join us behind the scenes at the Shrine. In this guided session, kids will handle objects and uniforms from our Second World War collection. Try on uniforms and hats, explore ration cards, equipment and hear stories about life on the front line and at home in an immersive experience that brings history to life.

Perfect for kids aged 8–12.  

Sessions will run on the following dates:

Mon 22 Sept - Thurs 25 September 2025 (program not running on Grand Final Eve)

Mon 29 September - Fri 3 October

There are two sessions per day 10:30am & 11:30am (45-minute sessions)

Booking information: 

• Sessions are free but bookings are essential.
• Participants will be met by Shrine Educators in the Visitor Centre and guided to the Second World War Room.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
