Born from the losses of war, commemorative glass has long been a way to honour those who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Let the Light Shrine explores some spectacular examples of this striking art form and unpacks the social, cultural and military history embedded in glass. Through expert commentary by art historian and stained-glass expert, Dr Bronwyn Hughes OAM, you will discover a fascinating tale of courage, conflict, and civic pride through the enduring beauty of glass.

After the screening, you will have the chance to delve deeper into the world of commemorative stained glass through a Q&A with Dr Bronwyn Hughes OAM, documentary producer Fiona Gruber and filmmaker Dr David Smith.
