Join us for an afternoon of chamber music featuring instrumentalists from the Royal Australian Air Force band as they perform a selection of music by First Peoples composers.
The program includes works for winds and percussion by composers Nardi Simpson, Brenda Gifford and Christopher Sainsbury. RAAF Indigenous Liaison Officer FLTLT Michael Naawi and Melbourne composer James Henry will also present as guest speakers to share their personal stories and insight into the music.
The performance will be followed by a Last Post service to remember and honour the contribution of First Peoples to Australia's Armed Forces.
Entry to this event is free, however, bookings are required to secure your seat.
